There is an argument whether parents should allow their children to make mistakes. Some support it whereas there are oppositions. As far as I am concerned, parents should allow their children to make mistakes under certain circumstances.
First of all, children have opportunities to learn through experiencing their lives with mistakes, which encourages them to greater achievement. For most situations, mistakes can be realized by themselves without their parents' blame. Second, the mistakes make them humble and considerate as they learn that life's many irritations and problems have their place. In addition, they will correctly take cognizance of their own road though failure.
To the contrary, opponents believe that children may easily ignore undesirable consequences and make the same mistake again, which may put them in an unfavorable situation in future. What is worse, some may cause them to change directions of their roads. Therefore, parents should let them realize their mistakes immediately and lead them towards the correct path.
Although it is true that there are irrelevancies in this method, it can be positive effect. In conclusion, mistakes should be made by children in certain circumstances.
